About Tasfiyah Therapy

Bridging Clinical Science and Islamic Tradition

At Tasfiyah Therapy, we understand the unique dilemma many Muslims face when seeking mental health support: the feeling that you must choose between a "clinical" approach that ignores the soul, or a "spiritual" approach that overlooks the science.

We believe you do not have to choose.

We aim to bridge that gap by providing evidence-based clinical care that deeply respects and integrates Islamic Theology, Jurisprudence (Fiqh), and Spiritual Wellbeing (Tazkiyah).

We offer a safe space where your faith is not just understood—it is a central part of your therapeutic process.

Our Approach

We utilize an Integrative Framework that merges modern psychological interventions with timeless Islamic wisdom. By grounding psychotherapy in Islamic tradition, we address the psychological mechanisms of distress while supporting your spiritual health.

  • For OCD & Anxiety: We combine Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) with Islamic Theology to help you navigate doubt (Waswasa) and balance fear with Tawakkul (reliance on God).

  • For Marriage & Mentoring: We use an Integrative CBT and Person-Centred approach framed within Islam to help couples move from conflict to compassion, and individuals to find clarity.
